Mid-Century Modern Tulip Table

Tulip Table

With over 300 hand crafted pieces of walnut, expertly jointed and sculpted, this table is a true work of art. The Tulip table started with an image that a client found on a website. The table they found was mass produced using composite wood, metal fasteners, and a faux marble top. The client loved the profile of the table but wanted it built to a much higher specification from premium grade walnut with traditional joinery and 4 layers of the highest quality vinyl based, post catalyzed, 3 part sealer and top coat spray finish. This table will hold up to constant use and continue looking gorgeous for years.

The Tulip Table is available in all wood species, finishes, and any size from 24-60 inches in diameter. Variations of the table are available from $2,400 - $7,800.

Contemporary Scandi Dining Table

The distinctive grain of the White Oak is accentuated by the application of white glaze and 4 coats of light sheen Furniture Finish. Sturdy solid wood legs with a 2/4 inch roundover give a contemporary Scandinavian feel. Solid oak top has a 1/4 inch roundover and a 6 inch radii on the corners. This table will be at the heart of family meals for decades.

The Scandi Dining Table is available in all wood species and all finishes and sizes from 28 inches to 48 inches wide and 6 feet to 12 feet in length. Prices range from $2,200 to $6,400 depending on size and wood selections.

Harvest Table

In farming communities in the early 1900’s, harvest season meant swathing parties where dozens of people would get together to help bring in the crop. Traditional harvest tables with long benches allowed everyone to partake in the celebration.

Our version is made of White Ash with a 5 degree trestle leg for extra stability and features a solid Ash top. The wood has been sealed, glazed with a white wash, and finished with 3 coats of high quality top coating. This table can be built in any wood and any finish. It is available in lengths from 6 feet to twelve feet and widths from 30 inches to 60 inches. Prices range from $1,600 to $6,200.

Six Sided Mid Century Dining Table

Mid Century Modern Dining Table

This table was designed for a client who had seen a table on a popular television show set in the 1950s. It was six sided and very mid century in style. The client loved the shape but wanted an updated, more organic feel to their table. This table features a central leaf that rides upon 3 pieces of metal rails with a 60 degree bevel cut to match the bevel of the table edge. The table top is 1.625 inches solid walnut with a sculpted, cut back edge which tapers to a 1/4 inch reveal. The top features a grain through construction to appear as one solid piece despite the centre opening. The legs are solid wood and elegantly tapered and are connected to the centre stretcher rails via mortise and tenon joinery. Absolutely elegant from every angle.

This table can be constructed in a myriad of ways using any wood and can range in length from 6 feet to 10 feet in length and 32 inches to 48 inches in width. Prices vary from $2,800 to $8,500 depending on options selected.

As shown: Premium walnut, 84 inches long, 40 inches wide tapering to 24 inches wide at ends and 31 inches tall with a 22 inch leaf. Finished with 5 coats of premium vinyl based, post catalyzed 3 part sealer and top coat. $6,400.
